The Utica Energy Alliance is a collection of businesses, landowners, community leaders and allies of the shale industry in Ohio.

What does the UEA do?

The Utica Energy Alliance elevates the voices of supporters, companies, landowners, and local leaders that ultimately make Utica Shale development possible in Ohio. We know the importance of shale development. UEA was developed to help tell our stories and interact with decision-makers, media, and peer organizations to protect our mutual interests and promote American energy independence.

What is the Utica Shale Region?

The Utica Shale Region is an area that covers much of Appalachia. In Ohio, the region has many natural gas and oil operations that fuel the country and provide significant economic opportunity for the state.

What are the UEA’s top priorities?

UEA’s top priority is to bring together a group of diverse stakeholders who have substantial interest supporting the ongoing development of Ohio’s Utica Shale development. Our mission is to elevate stakeholder voices and advocate for policies of mutual interest, specific to the responsible development of Utica Shale in Ohio.
